Real Madrid
Keylor Navas – 7.5: Had a similar game to his counterpart, was rarely threatened with anything substantial but was there when needed, looks to be playing better – not he is the first choice.
Danilo – 6.5: Did not get forward enough even with space available to him. Other than that was a solid performance from the fullback.
Raphael Varane – 7.5: Hard to tell whether PSG’s forwards were bad or if it was due to the Madrid defence. Either way the Frenchman was solid and showed why so many clubs were after him when it looked like he may have left the Capital.
Sergio Ramos – 7: Again solid for his team, kept Ibrahimovic quiet and marshalled his defence to keep the two PSG wingers absent.
Marcelo – 8: Fantastic performance from the Brazilian, kept ex-team mate Di Maria invisible the whole game and was also dangerous in attack himself.
Casemiro – 7: Playing due to injuries in the Madrid squad, the midfielder did his job and will be looking for similar performances to ensure his place in the first 11 in future.
Toni Kroos – 7.5: Another possession and passing masterclass from the German. Was always available for his teammates and constantly looking to thread passes forward.
Isco – 6.5: Showed some of what he is capable of but lost possession far too much. Needs to improve if he wants to keep starting.
Jese Rodriguez – 6.5: Probably should have done better with a first-half chance. Apart from that did not really get another sniff of an opportunity despite his energy.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 6.5: Had two opportunities that he should have scored from. The Portuguese is always a threat for any team, but it was not his night in Paris and he will look to amend that in the return fixture.
Lucas Vazquez – 5.5: Again only a starter due to injuries in the Madrid team. Had some chances off target.

Substitutes
Luka Modric – 5: Came on for the final 20 minutes and did not really create anything extra for his team.
Denis Cheryshev N/A – Again like Modric thrown on late to try and have an impact and had a shot off-target. May need to move on from Madrid if he wants regular opportunities.
