Tottenham have claimed a 1-0 victory over Crystal Palace at White Hart Lane in a game that they were able to dominate.

Palace did have the best opportunity of the first half through Yohan Cabaye that came back of the post after some good passing on the edge of the box before the half time interval. A similar chance in the 63rd minute saw Pape Souare find Bakary Sako at the far post only for a diving save from Hugo Lloris to guide the ball on to the post to keep the score at 0-0.

The winner came just after Lloris’ save as Son Heung-min put the ball through Alex McCarthy’s legs in the Palace goal. Tottenham were able to catch the Eagles with too many men up forward as Erik Lamela found the South Korean in the 68th minute.

A slow start from Palace proved costly as Tottenham were able to assert their dominance and never really looked in too much trouble throughout the rest of the game to secure their second win of the season.
