As entertaining as the match itself was, there was an equally intriguing tactical battle simmering beneath the surface. Neil has proved, in the short time he’s been in the league, that he is a highly capable tactician. An away victory here would not have flattered Norwich, but West Ham deserved their late equaliser too. Bilic still hasn’t found the ideal way to play at home, and his excellent tactical reactions are still being undone by his team’s penchant for goal-causing errors.
