It took a little over 12 hours of football, but Harry Kane has finally broken his infamous goal-scoring drought.

Kane scored the third goal just past the hour mark in Tottenham’s stunning 4-1 win over Manchester City, with his side playing some of the best football they’ve displayed in a long time.

After going 1-0 down early thanks to a well-taken Kevin De Bruyne goal, Spurs hit back with an Erik Dier goal right on half-time, before goals to Alderweireld and of course Kane put the result beyond question.

Potentially suffering from the ‘second-year blues’, Kane had scored only twice in 16 Spurs appearances since his debut for England in March.
