Stoke City were lucky to win as they defeat Bournemouth thanks to a late goal from Mame Biram Diouf. The win is the first of the season for Stoke.
A low cross from Marko Arnautovic was put away by Jonathan Walters for his second goal in two matches. Dan Gosling then equalised by scoring a deflection in the second half. Diouf then found Johnson’s cross in the 83rd minute and headed home for a goal.
Two injuries caught the eyes of the fans of both teams as Callum Wilson and Xherdan Shaqiri both went down throughout the game. Wilson fell in the eighth minute and did not come off the ground for more than five minutes whilst Shaqiri picked up a hamstring injury.
Thought we were excellent second half and deserved at least a point. Fans superb as always. Looking forward to putting it right next week ??
