Pepe Reina – 6 – Have to give credit for a clean sheet but he had to do very little in goals for that.
Elseid Hysaj – 8.5 – Although there wasn’t loads of defensive pressure he did very well in his role this game.
Vlad Chiriches – 8 – Starting this game instead of Koulibaly he played a very good game and didn’t give Palermo any room to move.
Fazi Choulam – 8 – Strong with protecting his area well. Playing an outstanding season.
Raul Albiol – 8.5 – Also had a strong performance, protected his goalkeeper well and let very little through.
Jorginho – 7 – Wasn’t his strongest game although didn’t do anything wrong, just wasn’t as important tonight.
Marek Hamsik – 8 – Another solid game and leading by example. Got the assist for the goal.
David Lopez – 7.5 – It was a strong performance for a rare starting opportunity in Serie A for Lopez. Controlled the ball well while he was on.
Jose Callejon – 6.5 – Still struggling a little in the final third. Played well in the midfield though.
Gonzalo Higuain – 9.5 – Another goal for the top goal scorer. The Argentine is on fire.

Lorenzo Insigne – 7 – He was good again today without having that chance to put his killer instinct on show. Looked a little frustrated when substituted.

Allan – 7 – Was freed up a little more than usual and strolled forward. Looked very dangerous.
Dries Mertens – 7.5 – Although finally managing to score, didn’t have a lot of time on the field.
Omar El Kaddouri – N/A – Didn’t spend enough time on the park to make a difference.
