Wojciech Szczesny – 10: A near perfect game in which he kept a clean sheet under all sorts of pressure from the Napoli attack.
Antonio Rudiger – 6: Not as strong as the rest of the defence.
Lucas Digne – 6.5: A fair match, though did not contribute much to speak of.
Kostas Manolas – 8: Made some important last-ditch clearances and stopped the attack although was made to look better by the keeper’s performance.
Radja Nainggolan – 6: Was not his best game and struggled to have a meaningful impact.
Mohamed Salah – 6: Subbed off after 75 minutes in his return. Used the ball well but did very little else.
Miralem Pjanic – 6: Also solid in the midfield but nothing out of the ordinary.
Daniele De Rossi – 6.5: Did a job for his team on the defensive end and unfortunate not to have been given a goal.
Alessandro Florenzi – 6.5: Like many of his team mates, was not able to muster much.
Edin Dzeko – 5: Due to Napoli’s vast dominance, he got very few chances and did not take any.
Iago Falque – 5.5: Similarly to Dzeko, did not get presented with much opportunity.
Substitutes
Juan Iturbe – 5: Only got about 15 minutes and did not get the chance to make much of an impact with Napoli pressing hard for a goal.
Norbert Gyomber – N/A: Unable to make an impact.
William Vainqueur – N/A – Also a late substitute and was much the same as Gyomber.
