Has Gomis gone cold?

Bafetimbi Gomis had scored four goals in nine matches, but recently he has been out of form and has failed to find the net in his last five outings. Coincidently, Swansea City have not won a game in the Premier League in their last five matches. It seems as if Gomis is the heartbeat of the team and he needs to be scoring goals for Garry Monk’s squad to win. The Swans will face Aston Villa away next up, which could prove to be a challenge considering their recent form.

If Gomis can start scoring again, he will help bring Swansea up the table and most importantly, people will keep him in their fantasy teams! Otherwise, an eager Eder is nipping at the Frenchman’s heels for a first team spot. There is also Gylfi Sigurdsson to play at striker, if absolutely needed.

EURO League would make fans stoked

The possibility of qualifying for Europe is gaining momentum at the Britannia Stadium and fans would be absolutely ecstatic, but there is much work to do before it is a certainty. The last three Premier League games have been wins for Stoke and they are now 11th on the table. Anything better than a 9th place finish would have to be considered a great success though.
