Western Sydney Wanderers
Andrew Redmayne – 9: Excellent performance, some excellent saves mixed in with executing the basics right. Pick of the defence.
Scott Jamieson – 6.5: A mixed performance tonight. Good going forward, some average defending.
Nikolai Topor-Stanley – 7: The captain did his job at the back but did not stand out aside from some timely interceptions and blocks.
Alberto Aguilar – 7.5: One or two crucial blocks and an all round performance that was worthy of his side.
Scott Neville – 6.5: Some decent defending by the right-back but did not offer much of an attacking presence. Subbed at half time for Brendan Hamill.
Andreu – 8: The Spaniard is a class player and the fact that he is yet to sign a new contract will be a real worry for the Wanderers.
Dimas Delgado – 7.5: Seamlessly returned from his suspension and played well. WSW fans will be delighted he is tied to a new contract next season.
Mitch Nichols – 7.5: Dynamic and consistently pushing forward, lost out a few times but always worked hard to get the ball back.
Romeo Castelen – 9: A threat throughout, got two assists in the first half and consistently terrorised the Nix rearguard.
Brendon Santalab – 8.5: Scored two and while he did not know much about the first, he ensured he was in the right place to pop it in. Clinical second goal.
Mark Bridge – 8: The veteran continues to show his class and consistency. Impressive.
Substitutes
Brendan Hamill – 6: Half time substitute for Neville.
Dario Vidosic – N/A: Replaced Castelen late on, no impact.
Shannon Cole – N/A: No contribution.
