Kevin Trapp

Kevin Trapp is an anomaly at the moment for many PSG fans and pundits alike, at times he is superb but as proved against Madrid moments of madness continue to happen. It is usually harsh to blame the goalkeeper for goals conceded, the ball has to go through 10 other players before it gets to him, but Trapp never seems to help himself, going walkabout for the Real Madrid goal and costing his team dearly. It os little wonder many are beginning to favour dropping the German in favour of Salvatore Sirigu. Maybe it is too soon for that, but it will not be long if Trapp continues to cost his team points.

Di Maria hot and cold

One of the most frustrating things for PSG fans this season has been Di Maria, sparkling at times but completely missing at others. This game saw the Argentine have a willingness to impress and it was clear he wanted to show the Real Madrid fans and hierarchy what they were missing by letting him go. Unable to get a goal on his return to the Bernabeu he was still impressive. Highlighted by a fantastic free kick in the 90th minute that completely beat Keylor Navas in the Real Madrid goal and only denied by the woodwork. More performances like this are needed for Di Maria to justify his poor showings early on, but given time there is no doubt he is still capable of being a match winner.
