Roly Bonevacia (Wellington Phoenix)
23-year-old Netherland-born Roly Bonevacia will look to blossom efficiently for the Wellington Phoenix within the 2014-15 season. The former Roda JC Kerkrade defensive-midfielder provides a mobile, but reliable presence for the Phoenix, offering an outlet of attack from deep and able to also play in several-advanced positions, seen throughout the FFA Cup matches and within 2014-15 season.
Bonevacia contributed with four goals and several assists throughout last season, while screening and proteccting to the Phoenix defence. A-League commentators rate the New Zealanders as potential dark horses for the new season and Bonevacia’s form will remain pivotal if the Phoenix want to challenge for the A-League title.
