Marcelo Carrusca (Adelaide United)
Although operating in a more advanced attacking role and at some stages on the left of the pitch, Marcelo Carrusca has proven an influential figure for Adelaide United following the 2014-15 season and adds class and technical ability towards the flowing attacking outfit. Depending on new coach Guillermo Amor’s use of Carrusca, he should remain Adelaide’s most important player for a title challenge during this season, contributing seven goals and several assists in 2014-15. With ACL commitments also upcoming for Adeliade United, the coach must utilise Carrusca efficiently to challenge for the A-League title.
