Toby Alderweireld believes that Tottenham can go all the way in this years’ Champions League.
Alderweireld boasts Champions League experience with Atletico Madrid and was involved in the 2014 final, which the Rojiblancos lost against city rivals Real Madrid.
Spurs’ campaign got off to a slow start, with the Londoners falling 2-1 at Wembley at the hands of AS Monaco.
They now turn their attentions to CSKA Moscow, and despite the below-par opening, Alderweireld says his team can recover and match it with Europe’s best.

“I’ve learned that every team can win the Champions League if you put your mind to it,” Alderweireld was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
“If you have a good squad and the hunger is there to win something, you can do it.
“At Atletico, we had the big teams like Barcelona, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich – they were always the favourites.
“But at Atletico, if you are a really good group and, of course, we had quality too, you can win it.
“That’s the thing that has stayed with me.”
