Atalanta
Marco Sportiello – 7.5: Good game from Sportiello, making eight saves in total. Could not do much about the goals.
Rafael Toloi – 3.5: Shown red late in the game after picking up two yellow cards. Struggled dealing with Manzdukic’s strength and the pace of Dybala.
Gabriel Paletta – 4.5: Gave away a penalty for a poorly timed tackle on Dybala. Game to forget.
Gianpiero Bellini – 5: Was subbed off in the first half after taking a heavy knock to the head from Evra. Another of Atalanta’s defenders that struggled dealing with the Juventus attack.
Boukary Drame – 6: Performed reasonably well. Defensively put in a solid shift and looked likely going forward.
Alberto Grassi – 5: Tried hard but nothing worked for him.
Marco D’Alessandro – 5.5: Did not have it his way. Not much came off against a resolute Juventus defence.
Maxi Moralez – 5.5: Another who was not able to find his way in behind the Juventus defence. Replaced in the second half by Gomez.
Jasmin Kurtic – 6.5: Probably Atalanta’s best player on the day. Battled hard at both ends of the pitch.
Marten De Roon – 5: Tough day for the Dutchman, as it was for his whole team. Not much joy going forward.
Mauricio Pinilla – 4: Completely anonymous. Unable to do much, was able to get a decent shot off in the second half which Buffon saw go wide but otherwise ineffective.
Substitutes
Andrea Masiello – 6: Came on early in the second stanza but was unable to help Atalanta restore parity.
Guilio Migliaccio – 5.5: Introduced with 15 minutes left.
Alejandro Gomez – 5.5: Replaced Moralez soon after the interval but could not change the tone of the match.
