Getafe CF

Vicente Guaita – 6: Left helpless for both goals by his defenders, unlucky performance for the shot stopper who provided key saves to keep his side in the game.

Damián Suárez – 5: Provided a threat from right-back and constantly delivered dangerous crosses.

Santiago Vergini – 4.5: A tough game for the centre-back, however, made key interceptions and kept in-form striker Torres quiet.

Alexis – 4.5: Along with Vergini, helped keep Atléti forwards quiet in the game. Provided a threat from set pieces, but was guilty of allowing Griezmann time and space to fire home.

Vigaray – 5.5: The youngster took two nasty knocks the head, yet carried on in a courageous performance.

Juan Rodríguez – 4.5: Had little influence in the middle as Gabi, Saúl and Tiago all controlled the midfield.

Alvaro Medrán – 5: Similar to Rodríguez, had little opportunity in the centre to favour his side a chance at controlling the game.

Pedro León – 5.5: Perhaps unlucky not to have scored, however, should have done better. Looked to be the man to try changing things for the visitors.

Lafita – 5: Had one decent and threatening chance, with a good burst and ambitious effort from way out.

Victor Rodríguez – 5: Took advantage of Siqueira’s mistake that nearly gifted Getafe a way back into the game with neat lay-off for Šćepović.

Stefan Šćepović – 5: Had two significant chances at bringing Getafe level, however, he spurned both chances. A threatening performance that just missed the finishing and a bit of luck.

Substitutes

Wanderson – 4.5: Replaced León for the remaining 20 minutes but could not provide a threat for an equaliser.

Álvaro Vázquez – 4.5: Came on for the last 11 minutes and could not get past Godín or Savić.

Bernard Mensah – N/A: A late cameo appearance for the final few minutes for the loanee man.
