Liverpool’s revival under Jurgen Klopp continued as they produced a disciplined 1-0 victory away to Russian outfit Rubin Kazan in Group B of the Europa League.

Despite the visitors’ dominance in the first half they failed to translate their possession into clear-cut goalscoring opportunities.
After the break it was much of the same from the Reds and they finally had a goal to show for their efforts when Jordan Ibe slalomed his way through the heart of Kazan’s defence and drove an expertly taken finish into the bottom right-hand corner.
Liverpool could have wrapped up the game shortly after taking the lead but missed a host of decent chances.
The home team applied pressure and made for a nervy ending, however, the Reds saw the match out with relative ease to enhance their chances of progressing to the knockout stages.

68% possession and 23 attempts on goal. A 0-1 scoreline maybe flatters Rubin Kazan but what a great result. Well done boys. Brilliant. #LFC — Anfield Bond (@AnfieldBond) November 5, 2015
