The Arsenal defence needs to be more consistent
Laurent Koscienly has been praised for his performances this season, but the Arsenal defence let slip a couple of times and was penalised.
Early on in the game, a Christian Erikson free kick was fired towards an unmarked Eric Dier who almost capitalised.
Koscielny was key in Kane’s first goal as the England international had space and time to position himself, draw Cech out and shoot across the goal. Koscielny needed to be tighter, but instead had to attempt a lunging challenge that came too late.
Per Mertesacker did not have the best game either, with a lack of communication between himself and Cech nearly proving fatal on a number of occasions.
