Leicester City

Kasper Schmeichel – 6: Had a fairly good game considering that he couldn’t do much to stop the two goals.

Richie De Laet – 7: Played as an attacker and defender, continuously helping out in midfield and on the counter attacks.

Wes Morgan – 5: Definitely not his best game. A terrible mistake cost Leicester a goal. Despite this, he carried on playing and finished with a decent performance.

Roberth Huth – 6: Solid exhibition from the former Stoke City man. He doesn’t get as much praise as most of his teammates but he does his job every week.

Jeffrey Schlupp – 6: Made some great runs down the wing but couldn’t deliver a good cross into the middle. He also struggled a bit defensively due to being out of position.

N’golo Kante – 6: Great job in midfield, he brought the ball forward time and time again.

Gokhan Inler – 5: Struggled to keep possession and was not getting the ball as much as usual. He was subsitituted at half time to make way for some attacking presence.

Danny Drinkwater – 7: The commentators mentioned his name a lot throughout the first half. One of the better performers for Leicester early on and managed to win a penalty for his team.

Riyad Mahrez – 6: Assisted Vardy’s goal but couldn’t get going before the break. Not a showing that the fans have been used to but he should be back to his best next week.

Shinji Okazaki – 5: Didn’t have the best game, he was isolated in the first half and didn’t take his chances.

Jamie Vardy – 7: As with Okazaki, he was marked in the first half but did very well in the second. He scored a low finish that went under Butland and nearly scored again after he hit the post very late in the game.

Substitutions

Leonardo Ulloa – 6: Subbed on as an attacking presence but couldn’t score the winning goal.

Marc Albrighton – 6: Replaced Kante and did well out wide whereas Kante was more of a central midfielder.

Andy King – N/A: His performance couldn’t be judged as he only played five minutes.
