Leicester deserve their league-leaders status

The Foxes came to the Liberty with a ruthlessness that good sides show. Despite the recent poor form shown by the Swans, this was potentially a game that the Foxes could slip up on.

Instead, the game was out of reach early (arguably by half time) and did so without their top striker failing to find the back of the net in what is a rare occurrence for this season.

The result is also indicative of the mindset manager Claudio Ranieri and his players have taken to away games this year. Rather than sitting deep, defending at the hope of an away point, the Foxes have taken on anyone and everyone, whether home or away. It is this mindset which has seen them be the only team not to lose away this season.

While the likes of Manchester City and Manchester United dropped points this week, the Foxes showed that they do not look like slowing in any title race just yet.

Happy days for the Foxes
