Leicester are a serious contender for European football
Nobody would have predicted the start to the season that the Foxes have made, leading all comers after 13 games. In that time, they have only experienced defeat once.
Their run of form has continued longer than widely anticipated and they now find themselves in a great position to qualify for European football, which would be an outstanding feat considering that they were widely tipped to be fighting for survival.
The squad has genuine stars in Vardy, Mahrez and N’Golo Kante, while also possessing depth in key positions.
Even if the Foxes were unable to maintain their blistering pace, a European place is well within their reach – and who would be brave enough to write them off at this point in time?
