West Ham put an end to winless home run
Going into this fixture West Ham had six points from a possible 12. One could be forgiven for assuming they won their home matches against Leicester and Bournemouth and lost tricky away ties at Arsenal and Liverpool respectively. Strangely though, West Ham’s first month panned out exactly the opposite and their home form was starting to become a worry for fans. Fortunately for Slaven Bilic’s men, their so far pointless run at the Boleyn Ground came to an end and finally the faithful have something to celebrate about in the last season at their spiritual home.
