Tarek Elrich (Adelaide United)

Coming in at number one on the list is Adelaide United defender Tarek Elrich. Elrich is one of the league’s most experienced and talented players. With over 130 appearances for first A-League club Newcastle Jets, Elrich will be looking to build on what was a very impressive 2014-15 season for Adelaide United.

With a string of standout performances, Elrich earned a spot in Ange Posteglou’s Socceroos squad where he made his debut in a 0-0 draw with Macedonia. With Adelaide United appointing Spaniard Guillermo Amor as their new head coach, Elrich will be a key player as the club looks to challenge for the highest honours in the league and ease the transition following fan favourite Josep Gombau’s departure.

With important World Cup qualifying fixtures coming up, Elrich will be looking to catch the eye of the Socceroos boss and earn another cap for his country. Expect Elrich to deliver and excite for the Reds in the 2015-16 season as his side looks to challenge arch-rivals Melbourne Victory in the race to secure the minor premiership.
