Melbourne Victory earned themselves a reputation for the amount of first-choice goalkeepers they have each season and Danny Vukovic is the latest addition to the squad. Moving to Melbourne for family reasons, the 30-year-old already had the taste of wearing the goalkeeping kit in Victory’s 3-1 FFA Cup quarter-final win over Adelaide. Despite missing out on finals because of the penalty imposed on Glory due to the salary cap breach, Vukovic was one of Perth’s most talked about players in the 2014-15 season. With minor departures from the Melbourne Victory squad after their premiership success last season, Vukovic may have a chance of silverware at the end of the season.
