Tottenham Hotspur have released a very fan-friendly schedule for when they touch down in Melbourne in July for the 2016 International Champions Cup Australia, presented by Audi (ICC).
The itinerary includes:
- An open training session for fans
- A supporters’ night with legendary former skipper Ledley King
- A host of coaching programs from their renowned Global Coaching Team at grassroots level across the city
Mauricio Pochettino’s players will train at AAMI Park on Monday 25 July, the day before a mouth-watering opening clash in the ICC against Italian champions Juventus at the MCG.
The open training session is FREE for fans with a ticket to any ICC match involving Spurs, Juventus, Atlético de Madrid or Melbourne Victory, with Tottenham’s session taking place between 7:00pm – 8.00pm local time.
Following last year’s successful tour to Malaysia and Sydney and backed by the outstanding OzSpurs – Spurs’ official supporters club in Australia with chapters in Adelaide, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne, Newcastle, Perth, Sydney and Wollongong – the club will have a notable presence in Melbourne.
One of the highlights will be ‘A Night With The King’ where supporters will have the chance to meet one-club man and England international Ledley King, who led the team to the League Cup in 2008 and played 321 times for Spurs between 1999 – 2012.
As always, the Club’s world-renowned Global Coaching team will be out and about in the Melbourne community with nine sessions scheduled for school children, clubs and coaches.

GLOBAL COACHING – OUT AND ABOUT IN MELBOURNE
As always, Tottenham Hotspur’s world-renowned Global Coaching team will be out and about in the Melbourne community.
Indeed, the Club’s International Soccer Development Programmes will be underway ahead of the squad landing in Australia with three camps in Victoria (June 27-30) and New South Wales (July 4-7 and July 11-14) available for children aged between 6-16. Punters can book places on these programmes here
During the Tour, there are nine sessions scheduled with the Global team delivering over 40 hours of coaching to school children, clubs and coaches.
