Genoa hosted Napoli in a scoreless draw that meant that Napoli’s winning run was finally ended.
It was a very different result for the on fire Napoli who have been scoring goals for fun recently; Gonzalo Higuain and Lorezno Insigne are both at the top end of the Serie A scorers list. However goalkeeper Matia Perrin and the rest of the Genoa team managed to keep Napoli scoreless, although in doing so didn’t manage to score themselves.
Despite Napoli dominating much of the game, they couldn’t find their killer instinct in this fixture. There was however one key team change coming into this match for Napoli, with Dries Mertens replacing Lonrezo Insigne in the starting line up.
