Outside90’s Joshua Scarcella breaks down the biggest talking points to come out of Serie A matchday 21, including some of the big transfers of the week.

Giuseppe Rossi to take a second chance in Spain

Out of favour Rossi looked promising during the preseason after he was able to complete his first one in more than four. However, it seems that the Rossi of old was able to unable to surface and, coupled with small amounts of opportunity, it was best that both parties agreed to go separate ways after securing a loan move to bottom of the table Levante.

This will be the 28-year-old’s second spell in Spain after a highly successful time spent with Villarreal before succumbing to injury.

Argentine returns to Italy

Mauro Zarate has found playing regularly a difficult task in recent seasons, being out of favour at Lazio, Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United, but will be looking to make the most of a second opportunity in the Serie A.

Zarate is fancied by Paulo Sousa who included the Argentine for the first available match and managed eight minutes against Torino.
