Romagnoli sees red

Romagnoli has not had the best start to his career with Milan, keeping zero clean sheets. Now, with his team already behind 1-0 thanks to a deflection from a free kick, Romagnoli was shown his second yellow card just before the break dampening any real chance of a Milan comeback.  The 20-year-old centre-back, who signed for €25 million from Roma, is still yet to show his worth.

Balotelli still improving

Last match saw Balotelli hit a lovely free kick to earn himself his first goal back in Milan colours but was unable to continue this scoring form. He was a visibly frustrated figure this match, with two goalscoring opportunities going amiss. Mihajlovic and the fans will be hoping he takes some more confidence away from a solid start and continue his form of recent weeks. Given a starting position thanks to his excellent display against Udinese, Balotelli played the whole game and nearly brought his side back into the match with some excellent passing.
