Inter Milan

Samir Handanovic – 6.5: Let down by his defence. Made a couple of good saves, very little he could have done about either goal.

Jeison Murillo – 4: Very poor game. Gave the ball straight to Callejon to essentially assist the first goal and was not much help in keeping out the second either.

Miranda – 5: Also average. A lack of communication was a cause of the second goal

Danillo D’Ambrosio – 5.5: Fairly quiet and did very little.

Yuto Nagatomo – 2: Being sent off after 45 minutes for two silly fouls as well as being run around for most of the game did not help his cause.

Marching Orders: Yuto Nagatomo

Fredy Guarin – 6: Caused issues for some of the Napoli defence but did not have the strongest of impacts from the midfield and was yellow carded for a coming together with Allan.

Gary Medel – 5.5: A very quiet outing.

Marcelo Brozovic – 6.5: Worked hard all game and was involved in much of Inter’s play.

Mauro Icardi – 5: Effectively only subbed off due to the red card on half time.

Adem Ljajic – 8: Inter Milan’s best player. Scored a well deserved goal and was putting the defence in trouble almost every time he ran at them.

Ivan Perisic – 5: Had little effective impact in this game and was subbed off after 83 minutes.

Substitutions

Alex Telles – 6.5: Subbed on after the half time break to plug the defensive hole. Played quite well and held his own.

Jonathan Biabiany – N/A: Brought on late in the match and had a moment or two but nothing much that he had an impact on.

Stevan Jovatic – N/A: Brought on late in the search for an equaliser.
