Manchester United and Chelsea finished off 2015 with a tense 0-0 draw at Old Trafford earlier this morning.
After most of the action came in the early stages, both teams reverted to more of a defensive approach in the second-half and the draw seemed a welcome ending for all involved. The hosts may narrowly have had the better showing, hitting the crossbar twice and being denied two arguable penaties, but with a total of 20 shots being produced, David De Gea and Thibaut Courtois stole the spotlight with some true goalkeeping heroics.
The result divided opinion among Manchester United fans, some seeing merit in the performance, while others believed that the point was not enough for Louis van Gaal to keep his position on the sidelines. Chelsea supporters heaped praise upon the efforts of Courtois, yet nerves remain as a win is yet to officially be recorded with Guus Hiddink on the sidelines.

No striker. No real creativity in midfield. Sloppy last 10 mins wasting time, two penalty escapes. I'll be happy with half a point #MUNCHE
