Leicester City have retained their lead at the top of the table, courtesy of a 1-0 victory against struggling Newcastle United.
It was a nervy night at the King Power Stadium for the Foxes, who registered just one shot on target and appeared to show signs of pressure.
Shinji Okazaki’s acrobatic effort on 25 minutes broke the deadlock, which was the 20th time they have scored first in a game this season – the most of any side in the league.
In the second half they exhibited some of their most erratic football, with Danny Drinkwater in particular losing possession on various occasions.
Fortunately for Leicester they were facing a team who are profligate in front of goal and also hand a contentious handball from Wes Morgan waved away as their title challenge rolls on.
Here are some of the best reactions on Twitter:
When’s the pressure going to hit these Leicester boys? Thought they were going to crumble in December? Unreal. KEEP GOING, LEICESTER CITY.

Very unlucky not to get a draw. Should have had a pen but it won't get mentioned by the media #NUFC

1-0 wins against Norwich, Watford and Newcastle just show that Leicester know how to grind out wins. Trait of champions.

Every round of fixtures comes and goes, and Leicester stay there. Been playing the best football all season.

Newcastle can't score goals and that will take them down, Mitrovic 14 million? Ridiculous.

Better than the last game from #NUFC, no doubt. Ultimately, another defeat though and nothing to really shout about! Pretty toothless.

Didn't expect anything from tonight so not too downhearted. Some signs of improvement there but massive injection of confidence needed #NUFC

N'Golo Kante is everything I love in a central midfielder. What a player. Absolute unsung hero of Leicester's success this season

We looked better than we have for a while. Even Colback wasn't utterly dreadful for once. We can beat Sunderland. #Nufc
