Chelsea suffered their third successive Premier League defeat, falling to a 1-0 defeat away to Stoke City.

The nightmare for Chelsea football club continues, despite the Blues having the better of the play and creating clear-cut opportunities.
Jose Mourinho, who was serving a stadium ban and watched the game at the team’s hotel, is under mounting pressure to change the fortunes of the club.
Only once in the Premier League era has a team finished inside the top six, let alone the top four, following a start of 11 points in 12 games.
13 points behind fourth-placed Manchester United it would appear that Chelsea’s only route into the competition next season will rest on winning the Champions League this term – severely unlikely considering the squad’s current malaise.
There’s been severe criticism of the Blues, while others are merely calling for calm and believe Mourinho should be given ample time to sort out their problems.
