Bournemouth have confirmed Jack Wilshere will join the club on a season-long loan from Arsenal.
The move is an indication of the south coast club’s rise to prominence, while it typifies Wilshere’s fall from grace.
The 24-year-old was excluded from Sam Allardyce’s national squad and is now behind the likes of Granit Xhaka, Mohamed Elneny and Santi Cazorla for midfield positions at the Emirates.
Wilshere remains a popular figure with the Arsenal faithful, however the majority of the supporter base understand just how important it is for Wilshere to play regular first-team football.
It’s a shock transfer which has stirred a significant amount of conjecture.

I think @JackWilshere deserves a lot of respect for what is a brave & humble move.
Can’t wait to see him in action against our rivals! 😉⚽️

Choosing Bournemouth over multiple opportunities to play abroad + in the Champions League. The decisions England internationals take… #AFC

*maybe Jack Wilshere likes living in England with his family and values that more than playing football for a massive club*

Imagine if Jack Wilshere hadn’t played well once against Barcelona. He’d be at somewhere like Bournemouth by now.

I genuinely think Jack Wilshere is a top player, annoys me how people get slagged for being injury prone
