Vardy proving why he is England’s number nine
There are still many who doubt Vardy’s credentials as an England international, but the Leicester hitman is doing plenty to justify his inclusion in the squad for the recent round of international fixtures. Vardy has now scored three goals in his last three and is proving to be a constant threat going forward, particularly due to his blistering pace and work-rate. His partnership with Shinji Okazaki has been important, while also forming a great understanding with Marc Albrighton.

There is room for improvement, however, as Vardy perhaps should have converted earlier than he did, squandering some golden opportunities. There a few Englishman, however, that are in better form than Vardy at this point in time.
