John Terry remains an observer
While John Terry has always stated he understands no spot in the Chelsea lineup is guaranteed based on reputation, surely the veteran defender would have looked on with some questions in his mind as his compatriots conceded twice due to slack marking.
Now not having started a game since the 3-1 defeat to Everton, the 34-year-old is under pressure and his career may be coming up to a crossroad point. Much like the team, it is make-or-break time for Chelsea, as showings much better than today’s will be required to climb back into the Premier League title race.
