Leicester City have confirmed the signing of Nigerian striker Ahmed Musa from Russian club CSKA Moscow following weeks of speculation. The 23-year-old joins the Premier League champions on a four-year deal, after a season in which he scored 13 goals in 30 matches for his former club.

Bournemouth have completed the signing of Leeds youngster Lewis Cook on a four-year deal. The midfielder enjoyed a breakout season for his former club, claiming the Football League Young Player of the Year award in April.

Leicester City midfielder N’Golo Kante has been linked with a move away from the KP right throughout the summer, but the latest rumour is one we certainly were not expecting. The Mirror is reporting Chinese club Shanghai SIPG want to sign the Frenchmen this window, for a fee worth around £35 million.

Manchester City are hoping to close out a deal for German youngster Leroy Sane in the coming weeks, following Germany’s exit from Euro 2016. The Manchester Evening News is suggesting a bid of at least £40 million would be required to convince current club Schalke to let the winger go, in the hope the negotiations are concluded before the Sky Blues fly out for their pre-season tour of China in two weeks’ time.

As Arsenal continue their search for a striker, the Daily Mail reports that the club is not willing to pay the asking price set by Lyon for Alexandre Lacazette. Claims are that the Ligue 1 giants have requested £42 million for the French international – a tag that the Londoners will be hoping to bring down as negotiations continue.

In further Gunners news, Italian champions Juventus are reportedly keen on bringing star winger Alexis Sanchez to Turin this summer. Website Tuttosport is rumouring that a £30 million approach has been rejected, and this deal  could very much come down to Arsenal’s ability to find a replacement.

Just days after being linked to fellow Premier League club Chelsea, Southampton’s Graziano Pelle is now being linked with a move to China. According to the Telegraph, the South Coast club remains in talks with Shandong Luneng for a £13 million deal, with the move expected to be confirmed next week.

West Ham continues to be on the lookout for a new striker, after reportedly being rejected by Lacazette earlier this summer. The Sun is linking the Irons with a move for AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca – with a £25.7 million bid having been made for the former Sevilla man.

Everton have been buoyed by Barcelona’s decision not to pursue Manchester United winger Juan Mata, with the Liverpool Echo suggesting via Sport.es that the Blues are now in pole position to sign the United fan favourite. Mata’s future with the Red Devils has come under speculation since the appointment of Jose Mourinho, who ultimately sold the player during his time at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea are closing in on their first signing of the summer according to the Sun, with the British publication reporting a £34 million move for Napoli centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly is on the cards. New boss Antonio Conte is expected to splash the cash this summer, as he prepares for his first season in charge at the club.
