West Ham Line up ever-present, it seems.
For the third week in a row, Slaven Bilic fielded the exact same starting XI. Bilic is want to tinker during matches, often he’ll remove Lanzini or Moses for Obiang, sending forward Kouyate to roam with intent. But he doesn’t seem to like altering a firm starting unit, despite West Ham’s patchy form.
It’s always good to have a settled starting group, but there are candidates for interchange. Mark Noble barely avoided a second yellow card here, and his passing looked shaky. Pedro Obiang might have started in his place, captain or not. Michail Antonio will be wondering when he’ll be given the same chance Lanzini and Moses were given to prove his worth over a full 90 minutes. This XI did not perform well against Sunderland, despite their point, so few would balk if the West Ham manager revises with his plans over the international break.
