Heavyweights Manchester City and Liverpool topped the most shots chart with a total of 27 and 23 respectively, yet the latter failed to capitalise on their dominance in front of goal as Norwich City claimed a point in a 1-1 draw.
For the self-proclaimed ‘league of late goals’ there were only two scored after the 70 minute mark, but six that came within the first 13 minutes of play.
There were four a total of 41 bookings and four red cards – most notably that controversial sending off of Gabriel at Stamford Bridge.
