Crystal Palace have secured back-to-back wins after a comfortable victory over West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

The win came largely on the back of an outstanding performance from Wilfried Zaha who was causing constant problems for the Baggies defence on the right.

Zaha would win a penalty late in the game that was converted by Yohan Cabaye, creator of the opener, to seal the result.

Crystal Palace

Wayne Hennessey – 6: Dealt with any issues that came his way well in order to secure a second clean sheet in a row.

Martin Kelly – 5: Looked better than his performance last week, however, his distribution was still an issue and was caught out late on which presented an opportunity for West Brom to get one back.

Brede Hangeland – 7: Was strong in breaking up opportunities the Baggies tried to create with intercepts and strong body use.

Scott Dann – 6: Much like Hangeland, was sound at the back an never really gave the opposition a chance.

Pape Souare – 7: Was key in combining with Bolasie down the left-side of the field and put in some good crosses.

Yohan Cabaye – 8: Broke play up well in midfield and looked to get the ball moving forward as quickly as possible. Converted a penalty late in the game and assisted Bolasie’s opener.

James McArthur – 6: Did not give West Brom’s midfield a chance to get into the game and consistently broke up play.

Wilfried Zaha – 9: Clear man of the match. Created major issues for the left-side of West Brom’s defence which could not deal with his speed and skill.

Man of the match: Wilfreid Zaha

Jason Puncheon – 6: Was at the centre of most of Palace’s forward play, usually passing out to either wide man for them to get balls into the box.

Yannick Bolasie – 7: Worked well with Souare, in particular in the second half against Chester. Scored the oppener with his head after a Cabaye cross.

Dwight Gayle – 5: Showed patches of what he has to offer but was not able to get in behind the West Brom central defenders.

Substitutes

Fraizer Campbell – 5: Came on to replace Gayle in the 74th minute and showed some urgence to build the lead. Some loose touches let him down, however.

Joe Ledley – N/A: Had no chance to impact the game after coming on for Zaha with three minutes to go.
