Hull City

Allan McGregor – 6: Had a generally solid match like his Rangers counterpart. Only saw three shots on target and dealt with them fairly well, however was fortunate to be let off the hook by Chery’s glaring miss in the second half.

Moses Odubajo – 6: The right-back has energy to burn and scrambled well in defence to shut down Chery and Phillips.

Michael Dawson – 6: Made an aggressive challenge to seize the equalising goal from a wonderful set piece.

Curtis Davies – 6: Had been a consistent performer this season and continued that form. Defended well as a team with Dawson and Bruce.

Alex Bruce – 5: Very level-headed player, yet he was substituted to make way for a more attacking option in the form of Chuba Akpom.

Andrew Robertson – 6.5: The wing-back system seems to suit Robertson very well. The Scot had some nice first touches and threatened the QPR goal several times late on.

Tom Huddlestone – 6: The set piece taker seemed to be the man pulling strings for Hull. Set up Dawson for a strong, headed equaliser in the first half.

Sam Clucas – 6: Showed good movement on and off the ball. Was particularly impressive considering his recent transfer from Chesterfield.

Mo Diame – 5.5: An absolute workhorse who showed much of his old self with sleek passing and undeniable strength.

Sone Aluko – 6: Raises pulses every time he is on the ball with quick feet and flair. A suspected injury forced his substitution in the second half.

Abel Hernandez – 5: Turned Angella far too easily to create a brilliant opportunity around 20 minutes but faded in the second half when Hull should have been piling pressure on.

Substitutes

Ahmed Elmohamady – 4: Did not see much of the ball late on. His pace was wasted in the 3-4-1-2 formation.

Shaun Maloney – 5: Linked up well with Robertson after coming on in the 69th minute.

Chuba Akpom – 4.5: Another one of Arsenal’s talented youngsters who has an eye for goal. Was selfish in possession though, having the chance to put Robertson through for the breakaway if he had lifted his head up.
