AFC Bournemouth secured their first home win of the season with a 2-0 victory over a lacklustre Sunderland side at the Vitality Stadium on Saturday.
Bournemouth have Callum Wilson and Matt Ritchie to thank for the three points. Both players struck in the opening few minutes to put Bournemouth two goals ahead.

Wilson took advantage of some shoddy defending from Younes Kaboul to claim the first goal for his side and move (for the moment) into the first place on the Premier League top goalscorers list. Ritchie would strike minutes later from a corner, controlling a poorly cleared ball and volleying it into the uppermost corner of the net. Thereafter, Sunderland could do very little to influence the result. Bournemouth played some of their best football this season, but failed to add to more goals.
