Cesc Fabregas took to Instagram to tell Chelsea fans to keep their heads up after last weekend’s surprise draw with Swansea.
The creative midfielder’s late appearance as a second half substitute sparked a dramatic finish to the match against the Welsh club.
Afterwards the passionate Spaniard posted the following message on his Instagram:
“Let’s keep our heads up. Friday more. Thank you all for your support.”
Fabregas has been used largely as a substitute this season, yet continues to have a strong rapport with the Chelsea fans.
His link-up play has proven important as his relationship with Diego Costa again proved vital in obtaining a positive result.
Fabregas very nearly secured the victory for his team as the full-time whistle approached, seeing his late effort blocked by the resilient Swansea defence.
Attentions now turn towards the Stamford Bridge encounter against Liverpool, who have secured back-to-back victories in recent weeks.
Chelsea are currently second in the Premier League, two points behind Manchester City ahead of the Saturday morning showdown with the Reds.
