Harry Novillo (Melbourne City)

As with Krishna, Harry Novillo is one of the A-League’s excitement machines. He played an influential role in Melbourne City’s late charge to the finals last season. He scored three goals in eight appearances, leaving City fans hopeful he would be re-signed.

The fans’ hopes were rewarded, as Novillo penned a two-year extension.

Novillo is blessed with great technical ability

Novillo’s European education makes him the leading City striker. Having learned his trade at Lyon but failing to make an impact in Europe, he now sees the A-League as his home. His athleticism and speed changes the dynamic of City’s attack, who have recruited well in the offseason.

Expect Novillo to be a focal point in City’s attacking patterns in 2015-16 and much like Wellington’s Krishna, Novillo may feature as a potential Golden Boot candidate.
