Nice to see you again Mr Jackson

After being released by the Roar in the offseason, young giant Lachlan Jackson filled in for the absent Nigel Boogard and was largely assured and steady at the back. Having left in search of A-League game time, Jackson was involved in plenty of action throughout. His header off the corner set up the equaliser as Jade North was unable to control the ball. He is a defender with a bright future ahead of him if he continues to develop.

Time for a revamp or even just a sympathy start?

With the bulk of the starting eleven having featured in every game so far, it may be time for John Aloisi to look at the rest of his squad to freshen the team up. When healthy, Luke DeVere would slot into the starting lineup in place of Daniel Bowles however he is still a couple of weeks away, so it may be worth looking at James Donachie to come in for a game or two. He is clearly desperate to play as every home game he spends his time warming up with a hopeful expression on his face, eagerly looking towards the field like an excited child who is waiting to be let out to play with his friends.
