FC Barcelona confirmed its dominance in Europe, securing the treble with a 3-1 win over Juventus in an entertaining final at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.
Juventus
Gianluigi Buffon – 6.5: Kept Juve in it with an array of outstanding saves, in particular off Dani Alves and then Luis Suarez. Was unlucky in dealing with Lionel Messi’s strike.
Andrea Barzagli – 6: Did a reasonable job deputising for Giorgio Chiellini.
Leonardo Bonucci – 6.5: Held his own.
Stephan Lichsteiner – 6: Made a vital forward foray in the lead-up to Juve’s equaliser. Had not offered much until then.
Patrice Evra – 7: Looked the likelier of the Juve full-backs and made some crucial tackles.
Paul Pogba – 6: Pushed forward a bit but without result. Was robust in his treatment of the Barca midfield.
Claudio Marchisio – 6.5: Played an important part in Morata’s goal with an exquisite back heel. Also had a number of decent tries from long range.
Andrea Pirlo – 5.5: Was closely watched all evening. Grew into the match somewhat in the second half.
Arturo Vidal – 6: Put himself amongst it in the first half but was made to live dangerously after an early yellow card. Was the first replaced by Max Allegri.
Alvaro Morata – 7.5: Levelled proceedings with a simple tap-in.
Carlos Tevez – 6: His shot was spilled by ter Stegen, allowing Morata to finish. Aside from that, did not have his best night in front of goal.
Substitutes
Roberto Pereyra – N/A: Did not really influence proceedings.
Fernando Llorente – N/A: Late change for Morata. Tried to put himself about.
Kingsley Coman – N/A: Replaced the injured Evra late.
FC Barcelona
Marc-Andre ter Stegen – 5.5: Endured some nervy moments. Lucky not to be punished for an errant punch on 74 minutes at a corner.
Gerard Pique – 7: Solid alongside Mascherano and made his presence known up forward.
Javier Mascherano – 7: Made a vital interception in the 19th minute.
Jordi Alba – 6: Sound match at left-back.
Dani Alves – 6.5: Spent most of the evening in Juve’s half and was dangerous.
Ivan Rakitic – 8: Finished neatly to open the scoring after a 16-pass move and played some tasty balls thereafter.
Sergio Busquets – 7.5: Went about his usual no-fuss business in the middle of the park.
Andres Iniesta – 7.5: Assisted Rakitic’s opener and displayed his usual immense ability on the ball. Replaced by Xavi.
Luis Suarez – 8: Had plenty of chances and finally got his reward in the 68th minute with a simple tap-in.
Lionel Messi – 8: Looked to draw out the Juve defenders and was constantly fouled. Made a blistering run toward Juve’s goal, with his ensuing shot parried by Buffon and converted by Suarez.
Neymar – 8.5: Played a neat pass to open up space for Iniesta who played in Rakitic. Wreaked havoc for much of the night and sealed the win late.

Xavi – N/A: Replaced Iniesta with a quarter of an hour to play to ensure a dream swan song.
Jeremy Mathieu – N/A: Brought on in stoppage time as defensive insurance.
Pedro – N/A: Replaced the battle-weary Suarez with seconds remaining.
