Coming of the back of a record season with Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, it should come as no surprise that Robert Lewandowski is stealing the spotlight on the continental stage, having already bagged 13 goals for Poland in the lead up to the tournament.

The iconic hitman Zlatan Ibrahimovic sits in second on the list with 11 goals from 35 shots, while Lewadowski’s  Die Roten teammate Thomas Muller recorded nine goals in Germany’s qualifying run.

Russia’s Artem Dzyuba provides a surprise inclusion near the top, although former A-League star Marc Janko also is just outside of the top five, with seven goals from 21 shots with Austria.

Judging from these stats and dangerous names, Euro 2016 is sure to provide a memorable highlight reel of goals.
