Celtic cruised to victory with an emphatic 6-1 win at home against Kilmarnock to maintain their ascendancy in the Scottish Premier League.

Moussa Dembele scored his ninth and 10th goals of the season to help his side extend their lead at the top to five points.

The visitors stunned Celtic Park when Souleymane Coulibaly scored the opener with an outrageous 35-yard screamer.

However, it didn’t take long for Celtic to level through Dembele’s neat finish, and then find themselves in the lead before half-time when that man again, Dembele, applied a finish to Kieran Tierney’s cut-back.

James Forrest, Leigh Griffiths added goals in the 52nd and 66th minutes before Scott Sinclair converted from the penalty spot.

Socceroos midfielder Tom Rogic completed the rout when he weaved his way into the box and slotted a low curling drive into the far right-hand corner.

Rogic continued his fine scoring form and has scored six goals from his 10 games in all competitions for Celtic.
