All the talent in world football will not count for much on the field if a team cannot hold onto possession.

As action in the English top-flight resumes this weekend the gang at oulala.com have taken a look at the 10 players who have been most often dispossed in 2015-16, with some of the competition’s star names featuring among the list of those who may be giving up the ball a little too easily.

None other than Manchester City star striker Sergio Aguero tops the chart, having been stripped of the ball 83 times by opposition so far this season. It comes as no surprise that in turn, the Argentine is fast falling out of the Golden Boot race and the Sky Blues are in a tight battle for the last Champions League spot.

The high-flying Harry Kane is tied with Manchester United’s Anthony Martial and Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha, all dispossessed 75 times, while the likes of Riyad Mahrez, Alexis Sanchez and Dele Alli have all been slightly more silky with the ball.

Watford’s Odion Ighalo is the hardest to keep under-wraps on the list, with the 26-year-old only losing the ball 68 times during this campaign.
