Lazio

Federico Marchetti – 5: Was left out to dry by the rest of the team. Made a couple of good saves but conceded five, none of which he was to blame for though.

Dušan Basta – 4: Use of the ball in possession was good and that was about it. He was fairly distant otherwise.

Ştefan Radu – 3: Gave away a lot of possession and had minimal defensive or attacking presence in the game.

Mauricio – 2.5: Was poor in defence tonight. Showed very little grit to win tackles in his half and was part of the centre-back pairing that managed to concede five goals

Wesley Hoedt – 3: Had limited to no impact for the defence in this game. Made a few decent clearances and interceptions.

Senad Lulić – 3: Substituted off at halftime while trailing 2-0. Also picked up a yellow card for his troubles and missed a number of passes.

Stefano Mauri – 3.5: Similarly was mostly a shadow for Lazio and was also substituted at halftime.

Ogenyi Onazi – 4: He had minimal impact in trying to control the game and only had one shot that went anywhere close to the target from range

Marco Parolo – 3: Although moving in a lot of areas, was average in use of the ball and let players go around him all night.

Alessandro Matri – 4: Removed after 74 minutes. Did not do much at all considering he played the majority of the game

Baldé Keita – 5: Although having very limited opportunities and chances, he was one of Lazio’s better players tonight. Ran hard and put in an effort all the way, but there was very little support.

Substitutions

Felipe Anderson – 5: Brought off the bench at halftime to try and change things from higher on the field. Did fairly well on the ball but was poor in trying to win it back. A little unlucky not to start

Milinkovic Savic – 5: Also a halftime substitute. Although not using the ball to a good standard, he seemed to be somewhat of a threat and hit the woodwork late in the game

Filip Djordjevic – N/A: Came on too late to make a difference. The game was in a holding pattern by this stage and he had no influence
