Liverpool suffered a blow in their pursuit of Polish midfielder Piotr Zielinski, with the BBC reporting that Udinese have denied a bid of £11.7 million for the player. The rejected approach comes as somewhat as a surprise though, as the Italians accepted an offer of the same amount from Napoli.

Manchester United have already made a big splash in the summer window following three new signings and are ready to make their biggest move of the summer yet. According to the Daily Mail, the club has informed Juventus they are prepared to pay a world record fee of £100 million in order to bring Paul Pogba back to Old Trafford.

With John Terry set for a lesser role this season, Chelsea are on the lookout for his replacement and Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly may be that man, with the Mirror suggesting a fee has been agreed. Incoming manager Antonio Conte is said to be a keen admirer and wants to build his defence around the 25-year-old centre-back.
