Dani Carvajal – 6: Blocked a shot from Success and made the excellent run allowing Benzema to slot home.
Raphael Varane – 6.5: Forever on his toes to track the runs of Granada.
Marcelo – 5: Had attacking intent but left gaps in the defence due to this.
James Rodriguez – 4: Did not really produce anything when he had possession of the ball.
Toni Kroos – 5: Did not cover the defence well and left most of the producing to his Croatian counterpart.
Isco – 3.5: Was cool, calm and collected on the ball but the end product was lacking.
Luka Modric – 9: Pin-point passing as always and scored a stunning goal to seal his side’s victory.
Cristiano Ronaldo – 4: An average night for the Portuguese wiz with a few chances and then going AWOL in the second term.
Karim Benzema – 7: Scored the easy opener.

Nacho – N/A: Did not affect the game.
Mateo Kovacic – 4: Assisted Modric’s winning goal.
Jese – 5: Cut inside well but ultimately not a sufficient amount of time to really perform.
